Low Ink Warning
When ink is low and the Ink Container Sensor no longer detect ink, “Ink Shortage” is displayed
and the warning indicator light is lit. “Ink Shortage” is displayed in the Alarm Log (see “Alarm
Log” on page 75).
To address a Low Ink Warning:
1. Replace the Ink Container
a. Replace the Ink Container with a full one (see “Installing or Changing the Ink and
Makeup Fluid” on page 55).
NOTE: The JetStream will continue to function for another 18 hours after the Low
Ink Warning. The system will then turn jetting off automatically, and jetting will not
resume until the warning is cleared by changing the Ink Container.
