The Right Panel
When no button in the middle panel has been activated, the right panel shows general
“Operational Information.” That information is:
Shows the viscosity (thickness) or fluidity (thinness) of the
ink/makeup mixture in the Mixing Tank. The right value is the
target viscosity, or setpoint. The left value is a live viscosity
reading, measured every 3 minutes. The live viscosity must
be within ±10% of the setpoint for proper system function.
Shows the ink pressure, measured in kilopascals. The right
value is the target pressure, or setpoint. The left value is a live
pressure reading.
Shows the speed of the Gear Pump, measured in revolutions
per minute (RPMs).
Indicates if the system is currently printing. “OFF” means that
the system is not printing. “ON” means that it is currently
printing.
Indicates if there is ink in the Ink Container.
Indicates if the Printhead Cover is on the Printhead. If the
Printhead Cover is not on, the system will not allow Printing to
be turned on.
Indicates if there is makeup fluid in the Makeup Container.
Indicates if ink is going into the Ink Return Gutter. If the
system is jetting and the Gutter Status reads “Abnormal,”
there may be a blockage in the Printhead that should be
addressed immediately.
Shows the temperature of the ink, measured in degrees
Celsius.
Shows the temperature in the JetStream’s immediate
environment, measured in degrees Celsius. The acceptable
ambient temperature range is 41° F – 113° F (5° C – 45° C).
Shows the temperature of the electronics in the system,
measured in degrees Celsius.
Shows the number of hours that the hydraulic system of the
JetStream has been running.
Shows the number of hours remaining before the Main Filter
Assembly needs to be changed.
