Installing or Changing the Ink and Makeup Fluid
Ink and Makeup Containers need to be installed inside the Ink Compartment in the front of the
Console. The Ink and Makeup Containers are almost identical. The Ink Container has colored
fluid in it; the Makeup Container has transparent fluid.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE: Ink and makeup fluids are NOT
interchangeable. Ensure that the Ink and Makeup Containers are placed in the
proper positions.
CAUTION: Use only authorized Ink and Makeup Containers from Squid Ink
Manufacturing. Use of unauthorized fluids may damage the equipment, cause a
safety hazard, and void the warranty.
NOTE: Ink and Makeup Containers do not need to be changed at the same time. A
container only needs to be changed when it is empty.
Items needed to install or change the Ink or Makeup Container are:
• Full Ink or Makeup Container
To install or change the Ink and Makeup Containers:
1. Stop Jetting:
a. If the JetStream is jetting, on the Main screen, select Stop Jetting:
b. Select “Stop Jetting Without Cleaning.”
2. Open the Ink Compartment:
a. Open the Front Door of the JetStream by turning the knob and pulling the door
open.
