Low Makeup Warning
When makeup fluid is low and the Makeup Container Sensor cannot detect makeup fluid,
“Solvent Shortage” is displayed on screen and the warning indicator light is lit. “Solvent
shortage” is displayed in the Alarm Log (see “Alarm Log” on page 75).
To address a Low Makeup Warning:
1. Replace the Makeup Container
a. Replace the Makeup Container with a full one (see “Installing or Changing the Ink
and Makeup Fluid” on page 55).
NOTE: The JetStream will continue to function for another 3 hours after the Low
Makeup Warning. The system will then turn jetting off automatically, and jetting
will not resume until the warning is cleared by changing the Makeup Container.
