Buttons on the Main Screen
The functional buttons on the Main screen include:
Start Jetting
Starts sending ink and/or makeup fluid from the Mixing Tank through the Umbilical Tube to
the Printhead, and circulates most or all of it back to the Mixing Tank. A dialog box will
appear to select “Start Jetting With Cleaning” or “Start Jetting Without Cleaning.”
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE: Never select “Start Jetting With
Cleaning” if the Makeup Container is empty. The JetStream will shoot air
instead of makeup fluid through the system, which can increase the
likelihood of a clog.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE: “Start Jetting With Cleaning” should
be used sparingly. It briefly shoots pure makeup fluid through the system
before the ink begins to flow. Frequent use of this function can dilute the
ink, resulting in poor print quality, wasted ink, and the potential to overflow
the Mixing Tank.
Start Jetting With Cleaning:
Sends a jet of pure makeup through the system, and then sends a steady stream of ink
from the Mixing Tank.
Start Jetting Without Cleaning:
Sends a steady stream of ink from the Mixing Tank.
Stop Jetting
Stops the flow of ink and/or makeup fluid through the Umbilical Tube and Printhead. A
dialog box will appear to select “Stop Jetting With Cleaning” or “Stop Jetting Without
Cleaning.”
