• Step: Number of “steps” per print. For example, setting “Step” to 5 increases the
count by 5 digits for each print trigger. The default is 1 (1 count per print).
• Direction: Sets the direction that the Counter counts. “Up” would count forward (eg,
first item printed is 1, second item is 2, etc.). “Down” would count backward (eg, first
item printed is 999999, second item is 999998, etc.). For “Down” counting, the “Start”
number needs to be higher than the “Stop” number.
• Padding: Sets whether to add zeros before the count number. For example, if
printing 999,999 items, the first item could be printed as 000001. If “Padding is set to
“None,” the first item would be printed as 1.
• Align: If padding is added, this sets where the count number should be within that
padding. For example, left alignment could make the first item print as 100000, and
right alignment could make the first item printed as 000001.
• Recall: Resumes counting from where the count left off the last time the JetStream
was in use. For example, 5,823 items were printed on Monday, and the JetStream
was shut down for the night. On Tuesday morning, the count would begin at 5,824.
• Do Not Print: Counts the items printed, but does not print that information.
• Reset Time: Sets a time of day at which the Counter should automatically reset to its
“Start” number. For example, if the first shift ends at noon, the Counter can be made
to reset at noon to begin tracking the count for the second shift.
Date and Time
This button sets a time and date to be printed. This is a dynamic object, automatically
updating as time passes, and can be set to a specified future time that is also dynamic (for
example, an expiration date that is always 30 days in the future).
• Date Format: Shows how the date will appear when printed.
• Day Offset: Number of days that the desired date should be from the print date. For
example, if an item expires in 30 days from when it is printed, the “Day Offset” would
be 30.
• Start of Day: Time at which the system should consider a new “day” to have started.
