Start Jetting Without Cleaning
This function is also accessible on the Main screen by selecting Start Jetting.
Starts sending ink from the Mixing Tank through the Umbilical Tube to the Printhead,
and circulates most or all of it back to the Mixing Tank.
“Start Jetting Without Cleaning” should be used when resuming printing after a brief
break.
Stop Jetting Without Cleaning
This function is also accessible on the Main screen by selecting Stop Jetting.
Stops the flow of ink through the Umbilical Tube and Printhead.
“Stop Jetting Without Cleaning” should be used when stopping printing for a brief break.
Start Jetting With Cleaning
This function is also accessible on the Main screen by selecting Start Jetting.
Briefly sends pure makeup fluid from the Mixing Tank through the Umbilical Tube to the
Printhead, and circulating most or all of it back to the Mixing Tank. The system then
begins sending a steady flow of ink from the Mixing Tank through the Umbilical Tube to
the Printhead, and circulating most or all of it back to the Mixing Tank.
“Start Jetting With Cleaning” should be used when the system has not been in use for 8
hours or more.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE: “Start Jetting With Cleaning” should
be used sparingly. It briefly shoots pure makeup fluid through the system.
Frequent use of this function can dilute the ink, resulting in poor print
quality, wasted ink, and the potential to overflow the Mixing Tank.
