5-4 ENGINE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
• Disconnect the magneto lead wire coupler
A and clamp.
• Disconnect the clutch cable

• Remove the carburetor. (!12-5)
• Remove the ignition coil/plug cap. (!2-7)
• Remove the cotter pin
C, washer
D and clip
E.
• Remove the kick starter lever
F.
• Remove the brake pedal spring
G, master cylinder rod pin
H
and brake pedal
I.
• Remove the gearshift lever
J.
NOTE:
Mark the gearshift shaft head at which the gearshift lever slit set
for correct reinstallation.
• Remove the engine sprocket cover
K and chain guide plate
