deck(orimplement),shutofftheengine,andremovethekeyfromthekey
switch.
2.Removetheknob(item12inFigure94)fromtheendoftheparkingbrakerod.
3.Removethe6phillips-headscrews(item9inFigure94)thatsecurethe
towerpaneltothemachine,andremovethetowerpanel.
4.ReadtheGeneralPrecautionsforRemovingandInstallingtheHydraulic
SystemComponents(page5–77).

CAUTION

10.Loosenandremovethe4socket-headscrews(item21inFigure94)that
securethesteeringcontrolvalvetothesteeringcolumn.
11.Slidethesteeringcontrolvalvefromthesteeringcolumn,andremovethe
steeringcontrolvalvefromthemachine.
12.Ifnecessary,removethehydraulicttingsfromthesteeringcontrolvalve.
13.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringsfromthettings.
