– Unscrew and remove hangers -1- and -2-. Loosen clamps
-arrows- and push to rear.
– Separate selector lever cable at ball head -1- and unscrew
from gearbox -2-. Circlip -3- can remain fitted.
Caution
Danger of airbag coil connectors becoming twisted.
♦ Only disconnect universal joint from steering rack when
front wheels are in straight-ahead position.
♦ Secure steering wheel with adhesive tape so that position
of steering wheel and steering rack no longer change.
– Unscrew bolt -A- and remove universal joint from steering
rack.
– Disconnect connector at steering rack.
