of the universal

NOTE: _
Be sure that the gauge is positioned over
the centerline of the yoke bearing hole.
4.Rotate:
• Universal

the bearing housing.
Backlash (gear):
0.05
... 0.10 mm (0.002 .., 0.004 in)
Do not hammer the universal joint or the
collapsible collar of the driven pinion gear
may
be distorted. This will result in a
change
in the standard spinning torque,
requiring replacement of the collapsible
collar and reassembly of the driven gear
assembly.
NOTE: _
Check the gear backlash at four positions.
Rotate the universal
joint 90° each time and
repeat the gear backlash check.
