5.1 nspect:
• Vacuum chamber cover

• Springs ®
• Plastic bushing ®
• Plastic screw cap @
Cracks/damage ~ Replace.
6.1nspect:
• Jet needle
<D
• Main jet ®
• Main jet holder ®
• Pilot jet@
• Needle jet ®
• Pilot air jet ®
• Pilot screw (j)
• Starter plunger
Bends/wear/damage
~ Replace.
Blockage
~ Blowout the jets with com-
pressed air.
7.Check:
•
Free movement
Insert the throttle valve into the carbure-
tor body and check for free movement.
Sticks/tight
~ Replace.
8Jnspect:
• Joints (fuel)
Q)
• Joints (air vent hose-vacuum chamber) ®
• Joints (carburetor breather hose) ®
Cracks/damage ~ Replace.
CARBURETOR ASSEMBLY
Before reassembling, wash all of the parts
in a clean petroleum based solvent.
