1.Remove:

Timing plug CD
2.Attach:
•
Timing light CD
• Engine tachometer ®
(to the #1 spark plug lead)
Timing light:
YU-33277-A,90890-03141
Engine tachometer:
YU-08036-A, 90890-03113
3.Check:
• Ignition
timing

Checking steps:
• Start the engine and let
it warm up for
several minutes. Let the engine run at the
specified speed.
~ Engine idling speed:
V t 1,150 ~ 1,250 r/min
.Check that the stationary pointer ® is
within the firing range (6) on the rotor.
Incorrect firing range
-? Check the ignition
system.
