TROUBLESHOOTING
The engine
indicator light starts to display the self-diagnosis sequence.
NOTE: _
Use the
following special tool in this trou-
bleshooting.
1.Throttle position sensor (TPS)
CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
® Throttle position sensor (TPS)
@ Ignitor unit
1.Wire harness
• Check
the wire harness for continuity.
Refer
to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".

2.TPS
. Pocket tester:
VU-03112, 90890-03112
NO CONTINUITY
IRepair or replace the wire harness.
• Check
the TPS for continuity.
• Refer
to "THROTTLE POSITION SEN-
SOR (TPS) INSPECTION AND ADJUST-
MENT" in CHAPTER 5.
n GOOD
V CONDITION
IReplace the ignitor unit.
BAD CONDITION
IReplace the TPS.
