Adjustment steps:
• Loosen the
TPS mounting screws CD •
• Adjust the TPS resistance by turning the
sensor body to the right or left. Stop turn-
ing the sensor body when the specified
resistance is indicated on the tester.
Resistance
when the throttle is closed =
Resistance IIR," x (0.13 .... 0.15)
Example:
.If "R," = 5 kQ:
5 x (0.13 "" 0.15) = 0.65 ,., 0.75
The specified resistance
when the throttle
is closed is 650 ,., 750 Q.
• Tighten the TPS mounting screws.
• Detach the pocket tester leads and
con-
nect the TPS connector.
