5. Relay unit (fuel pump relay)
• Remove the relay
unit from the wire har-
ness.
• Connect
the pocket tester ((2 x 1) and
battery
(12 V) to the relay unit terminals.
Battery (+) terminal -t
Red/Black terminal CD
Battery (-) terminal -t
Blue/Red terminal ®
Tester (+) lead -t Red/Black terminal CD
Tester (-) lead -t Blue/Black terminal ®
• Check the fuel pump relay for continuity .

• Disconnect the fuel
pump coupler from
the wire harness.
• Connect the pocket tester
(0 x 1) to the
fuel
pump coupler terminals.

IReplace main switch.
