With the protocol type, the setting of the Extended MEMOBUS, MEMOBUS, MELSEC,
and OMRON protocols is 1. This value is specified in the transmission parameter setting of
each Communications Module. See the section on the transmission definitions for individual
Communications Module.
3.3.2 Slave Function
A Slave uses the receive message function (MSG-RCV). Because it is a Slave, it does not
send its own messages. When a message is received from the Master, it returns a response
message.
