11.5 Web Server Feature
The GS200 Web server feature links the Web browser on your PC to the GS200 and
enables you to control the GS200 from your Web browser window. The GS200 Web
server provides you with the following features.
•
Remote panel feature
Y
ou can use the keys on the remote panel to set or operate the GS200.
• Command control feature
You can send communication commands from the command control screen to set or
query the GS200.
• Communication environment display
Y
ou can view the communication settings on the status display.
• FTP server feature
You can view the files on the GS200’
s volatile disk (GS200RAM) and non-volatile disk
(GS200ROM) and transmit or copy files to your PC.
Environment on the GS200
Use the Ethernet interface to connect the GS200 to a network. For the connection
procedure, see section 11.2. For details on network settings, see section 11.3.
