USB Storage Feature (See section 4.4 for the procedure)
The GS200’s internal memory consists of a 4 MB non-volatile disk (GS200ROM) and
a 16 MB volatile disk (GS200RAM). If you use a USB cable to connect the GS200 to
a PC, you can access these disks from the PC as removable disks. You can store the
program files that you have created using a general-purpose spreadsheet application to
the GS200ROM non-volatile disk simply by dragging the files from the location they are
stored on the PC.
The volatile disk (GS200RAM) stores measured results. If you load the measured result
file on your PC, you can use a general-purpose spreadsheet application to edit the data
or display the data as graphs. The system file that is used to update the GS200 system
is also stored on this disk.
Non-Volatile Disk (GS200ROM)
The GS200ROM is a non-volatile disk. Even if you turn the GS200 off, the contents of
this disk are not lost. Two folders are stored on this disk: PROGRAM and SETUP.
