General Handling Precautions
Do Not Place Objects on Top of the Instrument
Never place objects such as those that contain water on top of the instrument. Doing so
may damage the instrument.
Do Not Apply Shock or Vibration
Do not apply shock or vibration. Doing so may damage the instrument. In addition,
applying shock to the input/output terminal or the connected cables can cause electrical
noise to enter or be generated from the instrument.
Keep Electrically Charged Objects Away from the Instrument
Keep electrically charged objects away from the input and output connectors. They may
damage the internal circuitry.
During Extended Periods of Non-Use
Turn off the power switch, and remove the power cord from the outlet.
When Carrying the Instrument
First, remove the power cord and connection cables. The instrument weighs
approximately 5 kg. To carry the instrument, use the handle as shown in the figure below,
and move the instrument carefully.
When Cleaning the Instrument
When cleaning the case or the operation panel, turn off the power switch, and remove
the power cord from the outlet. Then, wipe the instrument lightly with a clean dry cloth.
Do not use volatile chemicals such as benzene or thinner for cleaning, as they may lead
to discoloration or deformation.
