Basic Key Operations
Setting Keys
Press a setting key such as UTILITY or MEASURE to display a soft key menu at the
bottom of the screen.

How to Enter Values
There are two modes for entering values: up/down key mode and keypad mode.
Entering Values in Up/Down Key Mode
1.
Press the and keys below each digit that is shown on the display to enter
the value.
Increases the corresponding digit
Press the +/– key to change the value’s sign.
Decreases the corresponding digit
The NUM LOCK key is off in up/down key mode.

Entering Values in Keypad Mode
1.
Press NUM LOCK. The NUM LOCK key illuminates.
2.
Press the and keys below the display to enter numbers 0 to 9 and the
period.
Press the +/– key to change the value’s sign.
The NUM LOCK key illuminates in keypad mode.
