INSTRUCTION MANUAL
January 2003 Section 10, Page 6
MENU 3: The following example is the setup for a 6-channel (N = 1 through N = 6) CR survey.
The
function key is active.
CH. Any channel designator other than
OFF will turn a channel on. Ref
designates the transmitter current
reference input channel for CR
measurements.
N/Ant. Dual usage field:
1) Defines N-spacing (includes fractionals) for a channel designated as E
x
, E
y
, or E
z
.
2) H-field designator: Used to identify the magnetic field sensor used for that channel.
The number in this field must have an exact matching number in the CR ANTENNA
CAL calibrate cache. Used for HACSAMT, Frequency EM, MMR, MIP, etc.
Ch Info. By pressing
, you can access information for the analog cards that have
been turned on. For example:
1 DiffAmp Notch+60,3-50,3 S/N 67 Passed 1.00192
2 DiffAmp Notch+60,3-50,3 S/N 127 Passed 0.99835
3 DiffAmp Notch+60,3-50,3 S/N 256 Passed 0.99786
etc.
Where DiffAmp indicates the input plug-in device is a differential amplifier, the powerline
notch filter is a 60/180 and 50/150 Hz filter, and the board serial numbers are 67,
127, 256, etc.
Note: In Menus 3 and 4 a number (0094) is visible before the program designator (CR 0535).
This number is the label of the last data block written to the data cache. The next time a block of
data is written to the cache, it will be numbered 0095.
