TRANSIENT ELECTROMAGNETICS PROGRAM
Section 12, Page 17 October 2002
Plot Data. By pressing you get into the plot routines. See Plot Routines, Section 14
for more information. Standard plots for this TEM program are transient voltage vs. time, and
resistivity vs. image depth.
Skip Flag. By pressing an 'x' is placed between the version number and the date in
the header for the block being viewed. This flag is recognized by the plot routines and the
flagged data will be skipped when averaging multiple blocks for plotting. Repeated pressing of
will remove and replace the 'x'.
12.6 A NOTE ON SCALING
The following convention is used for all measured and calculated parameters:
TEM magnitudes, displayed in volts per ampere (V/A).
Current, displayed in amperes.
Apparent resistivity, displayed in ohm-meters.
Dipole spacings, displayed in meters. (Values not used in TEM).
SEM, displayed in volts per ampere (V/A)
If scaling is necessary on these values, the following labels are appended to the end of the
number string:
M - Mega units
k - Kilo units
m - milli units
u - micro units
