MENU 3:
For this example we will assume a 3-axis
measurement at a single station.
The
function key is active.
CH. S e l e c t i o n s a r e H x , H y , H z , E x , E y ,
Ez, Ref and OFF. Resistivities are
calculated for Hz channels only, when
using the in-loop or coincident loop
configuration. The total number of
channels are presently limited to 3 for
sample rates of 4 through 32 Hz. Eight
channels can be used for sample rates
of 2 Hz and below.
CAUTION - Channels must be turned on in sequence. For single channel operation use
channel 1; for two channel operation use channels 1 and 2, etc. Turning on channel 2 only
for single channel operation is not valid.
Station. Station identifier, used mostly for multiple station surveys.
Ch Info. P r e s s
for data on the analog cards that have passed QC. For example:
1 DiffAmp Notch+60,3-5,9 S/N 67 Passed
2 DiffAmp Notch+60,3-5,9 S/N 127 Passed
3 DiffAmp Notch+60,3-5,9 S/N 256 Passed
Here DiffAmp indicates the input plug-in card is a differential amplifier, the powerline
notch filter is a 60/180/300/540 Hz filter, (the "+" indicates a modification level), and the
three board serial numbers are 67, 127, and 256.
If NanoTEM cards are installed, an example would be:
4 NanoTEM A/D 1.2usec S/N 31 Passed
5 NanoTEM A/D 1.2usec S/N 42 Passed
Note that a number (0094) is visible before the program designator (TEM 0539). This
number is the label of the last data block written to the data cache. The next time a block of
data is written to the cache, it will be numbered 0095.
