9. Place shift shaft back into neutral. Photo TR-10
10. Place reverse shift shaft into reverse. Photo TR-11

11. Pull the input shaft from the transmission

12. Remove the spline shaft drive gear assembly.

13. Remove the set screw securing the ball and
spring within the housing at the hi/lo shift shaft
assembly. Photo TR-14
14. Remove the spring and steel ball.

15. Place the reverse shift shaft block back
down against the housing (out of reverse).

16. Remove the hi/lo shift shaft from the hous-
