Installing Audio Information Exchange (AUDIX) Interface—V3 Only
Requirements
Z100-TYPE HARDWARE
The interface between the system and the Audio Information Exchange/Adjunct or Audio
Information Exchange/Terminal is through processor data modules (PDMs). AUDIX
Terminals can also be connected through the system cross-connect field to the AUDIX. The
large AUDIX is not supported on the System 75 or System 75 XE.

System 75 Version 1 includes Interface 1 (TN716), Interface 2 (TN720), and Interface
3 (TN719) as the required control circuit packs.
System 75 Version 2 or 3 includes Interface 1 (TN716), Interface 2 (TN738), and
Interface 3 (TN719) as the required control circuit packs.
System 75 XE uses the Processor Interface (TN765) as the required control circuit
pack.
The installation for the AUDIX Interface from the system switch is covered under the
section for installing PDMs (see Figures 2-118, 2-119, and 2-120).
Information for connecting the PDMs to the AUDIX and setting the PDM option switches is
contained in AUDIX-M—Installation Service Manual, 585-300-103.
The AUDIX also requires up to 16 analog circuit pack ports from the system to reconnected
through the cross-connect field to the AUDIX. Refer to Table 2-F for port circuit pin
numbers.
Installing Call Management System (CMS) Interface—V3 Only
Requirements
The interface between the system and the Call Management System is through processor
data modules (PDMs).
