Install the emergency transfer panel
To install an 808A Emergency Transfer Panel:
1. Install the transfer panel on any mounting frame in either a vertical or
horizontal position. The housing has ears for screw-mounting and cutouts
for snap-mounting the unit in an 89-type mounting bracket.
NOTE:
Install the panel so it can be accessed only by authorized personnel.
The location must meet standard environmental considerations such
as temperature and humidity.
2. Verify that dial tone is present at each trunk circuit.
