6.3 System requirement
In order for the MAK E-TIGER measuring system to operate at its optimum
efficiency while stationary, it is essential that the connection or installation
complies with the following boundary parameters:
The oils and antifreeze agents used in the pneumatic system (and
compressor) must be safe for use in food production processes.
The compressed air supply must be sufficient (>500 nl/min at at least 7
bar) to guarantee the supply of compressed air, or an electrical auxiliary
compressor must be installed.
A power supply of at least 16 A CEE must be guaranteed for the measuring
system. To facilitate fault-free operation, we recommend using an all-
current sensitive FI circuit breaker and a circuit breaker with C
characteristic for the motors in particular.
A data network line of at least Cat. 5 must be installed for the data transfer.
The measuring system must be heated in cold weather to prevent freezing.
If there is a risk of the ambient temperature dropping below 5°C, an ejector
heating seal must be provided.
