The following table lists all possible entries and their corresponding meanings that will appear in
the System Log of this Switch.

Event description: A host failed to pass the authentication
Log Message: MAC-based Access Control unauthenticated host
(MAC: <macaddr>, Port <[unitID:]portNum>, VID: <vid>)
Parameters description:
macaddr: MAC address
unitID: The unit ID.
portNum: The port number.
vid: VLAN ID on which the host exists
Critical
Event description: The authorized user number on a port has
reached the maximum user limit.
Log Message: Port < [unitID:]portNum> enters MAC-
based Access
Control stop learning state.
Parameters description:
unitID: The unit ID.
portNum: The port number.
Warning
Event description: The authorized user number on a port is below
the maximum user limit in a time interval (interval is project
dependent).
Log Message: Port <[unitID:]portNum> recovers from MAC-based
Access Control stop learning state.
Parameters description:
unitID: The unit ID.
portNum: The port number.
Warning
Event description: The authorized user number on the whole
device has reached the maximum user limit.
Log Message: MAC-based Access Control enters stop learning
state.
Parameters description:
None
Warning
Event description: The authorized user number on the whole
device is below the maximum user limit in a time interval (interval
is project dependent).
Log Message: MAC-based Access Control recovers from stop
learning state.
