Description
This command is used to set up the loop-back detection function for the ports on the switch.
Format
config loopdetect ports [<portlist> | all] state [enable | disable]
Parameters
<portlist> - Enter a range of ports to be configured.
all - To set all ports in the system, use the all parameter.
state – Specifies the status.
enable - Enable loop-detect for the ports specified in the port list.
disable - Disable loop-detect for the ports specified in the port list. The default is disabled.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To set up loop-back detection:
DGS-3620-28PC:admin#config loopdetect ports 1-5 state enable
Command: config loopdetect ports 1-5 state enable
Success.
DGS-3620-28PC:admin#
62-3 enable loopdetect
Description
This command is used to allow the loop detection function to be globally enabled on the switch.
The default value is disabled.
