75-7 clear counters
Description
This command is used to clear the switch’s statistics counters.
Format
clear counters {ports <portlist> | groups < grouplist >}
Parameters
ports - (Optional) Specifies a range of ports to be configured. The port list is specified by listing
the lowest switch number and the beginning port number on that switch, separated by a colon.
Then highest switch number, and the highest port number of the range (also separated by a
colon) are specified. The beginning and the end of the port list range are separated by a dash.
<portlist> - Enter a range of ports to be configured.
group - (Optional) Specifies a range of LAG group. The beginning and the end of the LAG group
list range are separated by a dash. If no parameter is specified, system will clear counter for
all of the ports and statistics for all LAG group will also be cleared automatically.
<grouplist> - Enter a number of a group to be displayed.
Note: If no parameter is specified, the system will clear statistics counters for all ports.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To clear the switch’s statistics counters for ports 1:7 to 1:9:
DGS-3620-28PC:admin#clear counters ports 7-9
Command: clear counters ports 7-9
Success.
DGS-3620-28PC:admin#

Description
This command is used to clear the switchs history log.
Format
clear log
