53-1 create address_binding ip_mac ipaddress
Description
This command is used to create an IP-MAC-Port binding entry.
Format
create address_binding ip_mac ipaddress <ipaddr> mac_address <macaddr>
{ports[<portlist>| all ]}
Parameters
<ipaddr> - Enter the IP address.
mac_address - Specifies the MAC address.
<macaddr> - Enter the MAC address here.
ports - (Optional) Configure the portlist or all ports.
<portlist> - Enter a range of ports to be configured.
all - Specifies to apply to all the ports.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To create address binding on the switch:
DGS-3620-28PC:admin#create address_binding ip_mac ipaddress 10.1.1.1
mac_address 00-00-00-00-00-11
Command: create address_binding ip_mac ipaddress 10.1.1.1 mac_address 00-00-00-
00-00-11
Success.
DGS-3620-28PC:admin#

Description
This command is used to create an IP-MAC-Port binding entry using IPv6.
Format
create address_binding ip_mac ipv6address <ipv6addr> mac_address <macaddr> {ports
[<portlist> | all]}
