Reverse assembly card jam error
Detection Description
The printer detected a card jam at the Card Sensor (SN26)
Remedy
Check that there are no incorrect settings for the “IC R/W1” connection in
“Option Mode”.

• Harnesses from the Card Feed Motor (Reverse Assembly) (PM2) to
the Main board
• Card Sensor (Reverse Assembly Outlet) (SN26)
• Card Feed Motor (Reverse Assembly) (PM2)
• Main board
[Remedy]
1. Check if a card is jammed at the designated position
2. Check the reaction of the Card Sensor (Reverse Assembly Outlet)
(SN26) in the sensor check mode (page 27
).
3. Check the reaction of the Card Feed Motor (Reverse Assembly) (PM2
)
in the action check mode of the service mode (page 27). If it is
operating properly, clean the card feed roller.
4. Check/replace the related harness/cable, connector and parts.

[Remedy]
