Note: Where <rate>, when displayed, is the rate selected for the test. Only
available when PAM-4 electrical lanes are used either with
200/400GE/multiple link interface (2x200GE, 4x100GE, 8x50GE), or 100ZR+
interface (100GAUI-2 client).
From the Test menu, tap Functions, <rate> Advanced, and the
PAM-4 Histogram tab.
The PAM-4 Histogram graph displays for the selected lane the number of
hits at each 160 amplitude levels (PAM-4 Symbol 0 to PAM-4 Symbol 3)
once the acquire process is completed.
 Scale
Allows selecting the scale for the histogram hits (Y-axis): Linear
(default) or Log (logarithmic).
 PAM-4 Lane
Allows selecting the PAM-4 lane that will be used for the histogram
acquisition. The lane displayed on an amber background indicates the
selected lane while the ones on a green background indicate that valid
histograms have been acquired.
 Acquire
Enables the PAM-4 histogram acquisition process for the selected lane.
The green LED is on when the acquisition is enabled.
To acquire the PAM-4 histogram for other lane(s), select another lane
either by tapping on its number or using the arrow while the
acquisition is still enabled. Repeat for all required lanes.
Note: Reactivating the acquisition clears all previously acquired histograms.
