For a system with liquid cooling, proceed as follows:

Remove the LC kit, see "Removing the LC kit" on page 300.
▶
Remove all memory modules, see "Removing a memory module" on
page 274.
Before removing the memory modules, take a note on the
installation slot number for each memory module. Ensure that you
reinstall the memory modules in the slot they were located before
the replacement.
CAUTION
In case of Optane PMem modules are not reinstalled in the right
slots, data can be lost!

Remove all riser modules, see "Expansion cards and riser cards" on

Remove the iRMC microSD card, see "Removing the iRMC microSD card"
on page 362.

If applicable, remove all M.2 SSDs, see "Removing the M.2 SSD" on

If applicable, remove the Dual microSD 64GB Enterprise, see "Removing
the Dual microSD 64GB Enterprise" on page 377.

If applicable, remove the VROC module, see "Removing the VROC
module" on page 384.
