1.) Parts to be installed in reverse order of removal
2.) Perform “Functional Checks after FRU replacement (Debrief Guideline)” as described in Section 8-
12 on page 8-223
NOTE: Ensure the battery is NOT upside down. The battery needs to be locked to the bracket and
inserted having the "UP" sign facing to the top.
Steps Corresponding Graphic
1. Unscrew 2 screws to remove the Unity Battery Cover
Brkt.
2. Pull the Battery Pack to remove from the console.
3. Unscrew 2 screws to remove the Unity Battery Pack
Fix Brkt.
4. Remove the Battery Pack from the Unity Battery Pack
