Video Bandwidth Settings (VBW)
VBW (Video Bandwidth) defines the
smoothness of the trace on the display.
Combined with RBW, VBW defines the ability
to sort out the target signal from surrounding
noise or adjacent peaks.
> VBW[F2] and set the VBW to
Auto or Man.
2. Set the video bandwidth and unit for Man
mode.
Mode:
Frequency Range(3dB):
Auto, Man
1Hz~1MHz (1-3-10 step)
The BW icon is displayed at the bottom of
the screen when the VBW is in Man mode.
VBW/RBW Ratio
The VBW/RBW function is used to view the
ratio between the video bandwidth and the
resolution bandwidth.
The VBW/RBW ratio is altered by setting the
RBW and or VBW settings, see page 66 & 68
respectively.

2. The ratio is displayed on the VBW/RBW[F3] soft
key.
