3.2 Connecting the Power Cord

Before turning the instrument on, make sure the source voltage
matches that indicated on the instrument’s power connector.
Connection to an improper supply voltage may damage the
instrument and present an electrical hazard.
To avoid electrical accidents and to maintain the safety
specifications of this instrument, connect the power cord only to a 3
-
contact (two-conductor + ground) outlet.

.2 Connecting the Power Cord
Connect the power cord in the following manner:
1. Confirm that the instrument is off.
2. Make sure the power supply voltage matches power requirements, and
connect the power cord to the power inlet on the rear panel of the
instrument.
3. Plug the other end of the power cord into the AC outlet.
