Please only use shielded cables for all cables carrying encoder signals. This
minimises the effect of perturbation and avoids incorrect motor responses.
Wiring variants for step/direction input on X6
The step/direction input on the D1-N can process both differential signals and sin-
gle-ended signals. The step/direction input must be wired on the X6 connector
according to the signal type. The following diagrams show the various possibilities.
