Rectification of problem:
Check the motor cable and plug for damage and short-circuits. If this
doesn’t solve the problem, check the motor for damage, too.
E02 E02OVERV Overvoltage detected
Intermediate circuit volt-
age too high
Rectification of problem:
Check whether the main energy supply for the drive amplifier is within
the specifications. Also check whether the moved motor mass or its
mass inertia is too large. Check the brake resistance.
E03 E03PEBIG Position error too big Too great a position error
Rectification of problem:
Check whether the “Common Gain” amplification is set correctly or
whether too low a “maximum pos error” value is perhaps selected under
the “Protection” tab in the “Application center”.
E04 E04ENCOD Encoder error Error in encoder signal
Rectification of problem:
Check whether the encoder is connected correctly and whether the cor-
rect encoder type has been selected in the “Configuration center”.

Rectification of problem:
Check whether the motor is overloaded. Check whether too high an
acceleration has been selected, whether there are any obstacles in the
way of the motor and whether the motor has been maintained and lubri-
cated in accordance with the relevant service instructions.

Motor cable is not con-

Rectification of problem:
Check whether the motor cable is correctly connected with the drive
amplifier and motor.
Check the status of the STO function. (The monitor signal can be used for
this purpose)
