Loading a DVD
Use the following instructions to load or unload a DVD disc.
Notes:
1. When loading a disc, make sure that the text on the disc faces up.
To load a disc:
1. Press the load/unload button to eject the disc tray (see Figure 41 on page 102).
2. Press the disc onto the spindle on the disc tray.
3. Gently push the disc tray completely into the disc opening.
Unloading a Disc
To unload a disc:
1. Press the load/unload button to eject the disc tray.
2. Remove the disc from the disc tray.
3. Gently push the disc tray completely into the disc opening.
If the disc fails to eject, refer to the procedure for manually removing a disc in
“Manually Removing a DVD Disc from the Drive” on page 192.
Ordering DVD Discs
All DVD Discs are not alike. The media composition and the construction of the
disc itself can all affect the quality and capacity of the recording and the
performance of your drive. Poor quality media may appear to work adequately in
your system, yet it may not provide the highest reliability.
