ServerIP<A,B,orC>
The Server <A> IP address is read f rom either the CONFIG.DAT or
TE_SETTINGS.INI file (if one is saved) or the terminal firmware. When
an IP address is entered, it is written to the terminal’s firmware for the
next boot.
If using the Server <B> or Server <C> option as a fallback Intermec Ap-
plication Server, enter the server’s IP address or DNS name. The boot se-
quence will continue to try Server <A>, <B>, then <C> in order by filling
the f irmware controller slot with the IP valu es entered for each server.

Thehostnamecanbe64orfewercharactersinlength.Enterspacesor
punctuation where needed. Note that the TE 2000 application performs an
auto-enter when the 64th character is entered. It is case-sensitive and must
match a host name in the list of available hosts defined on the Intermec
Application Server, or remain blank. The name can also be the IP address
of the host to which you want to connect. Enter the IP address as four
decimal numbers separated by periods.
If a terminal was linked with a h ost name on the Intermec Application Ser-
ver, or a default host was configured on this Intermec Application Server,
you do not need to enter a host name on this screen.
