5250 Terminal Emulation Programmer’s Guide
The following table shows the data-inclu ded switches for the function
keys: 0 = enable, 1 = inhibit, and bit 0 is the most significant bit.

You can use resequencing to point to a field, other than the first, as the field
you want sent to the host in response to a Read Input Fields or Read
MDT Fields command. If not zero, the FCW of the field is checked as
each field is sent to see whether r esequencing is enabled. If so, the FCW
points to the next field to send. If the FCW has resequencing disabled (or
no FCW exists for the f ield), the next defined field is sent and checked for
resequencing.
Bits Description
0000 0000 Disable resequencing
XXXX XXXX Number of first field to be transmitted to the host, in response to a
Read Input Fields or Read MDT Fields command.
The error row may vary f rom 0 to 24. Row “00” signifies the default row,
which is the last line for most 5250 devices. You can use other values to
override the default row.
