Tosetupawheelchairforlatcheddriving,anexternal
stopswitchmustbettedtothewheelchair .Ideally,the
externalstopswitchshouldbehighlyvisibleandeasily
accessibletoprovideanextralevelofsafetyandsecurity
fortheuser .
Connecttheexternalstopswitchtoacontrolinput.
Invacarerecommendstoconnecttheexternalstopswitch
totheinputmodule.Theexternalstopswitchshouldbea
singlepole,normally-openswitch.Mostlylatcheddriving
isusedincombinationwithaSipandPuffarray,where
thelipswitchservesasexternalstopswitch.
