Proceed with the first test (with water in the tank) to check operation of the float switch.

Connect the ends of the float switch connector to the two probes of the digital multimeter, their position is not
important. For convenience, use a wire with a male connector.

If the display of the digital multimeter varies from the initial position, or displays all zeros, the contact in the
float switch is functioning correctly.

Proceed to the second control. Empty the detergent tank completely to check that the float switch is not
blocked in the top position and/or that the float switch contact is functioning correctly.

If the display of the digital multimeter does not vary, the float switch is functioning correctly, otherwise replace
the float switch with a new one.
