 Alignment is carried out in a dark hangar or outdoor at night. Turn the lights on and mark a distance
15 meters away from the wing.
 Aim the lights at the focal points given in Figure 62. Lock the position of the lamp by tightening the
screws once aiming is complete.
 Ensure that when the “TAXI” light is selected the light shown on the right of Figure 62 illuminates –
i.e. the TAXI light is aimed to shine on the centre of the taxiway 15m in front of the aircraft. The
LANDING light is aimed straight ahead.
