DTC: Steering Fault 8010
Difference between set value and actual value for current regulator is above limit.
DTC: Steering Fault 8020
Difference between set value and actual value for position regulator is above limit.
DTC: Steering Fault 8030
One or more of the motor cables are not connected.
DTC: Steering Fault 8040
Difference between set value and actual value for speed regulator is above limit.
DTC: Steering Fault 8050
The estimated speed is above limit.
Probable Cause Remedy
Faulty wiring harness. Check wiring between steering input device and steering control unit.
Steering wheel input device. Substitute the steering wheel input device with a known good steering wheel input device.
If system now works, re-install old component to verify fault returns.
