OPS
Removal and Installation
See Figures 7-6 and 7-7.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Remove OPS light (if equipped). (See “OPS Light” on
page 7-5.)
3. Raise the hood.

4. Remove two plugs (1) on each side of machine.

5. Support the OPS (2) using a suitable lifting device.
6. Remove three screws (3), lock washers (4), and flat
washers (5) on each side of machine.
7. Remove OPS (2).
Installation Notes
• Install OPS by reversing the order of removal.
• Tighten OPS mounting screws (3) to 25 lb-ft (39
N·m).
Hood
Removal and Installation
See Figure 7-8.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

2. Open and support hood (1) using a suitable lifting
device.
3. Remove screws (2), washers (3), and nuts (4).
4. Remove hood (1).
Installation Notes
• Support the hood with a suitable lifting device to aid
in installation.
• Install hood by reversing the order of removal.
