Brake Pedal Switch
Removal and Installation
See Figure 4-141.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

2. Tag and disconnect wire connector (3).
3. Remove two screws (1).
4. Remove brake pedal switch (2).
Installation Notes
• Install brake pedal switch by reversing the order of
removal.
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to any
connectors removed.
Brake Pedal Position Sensor
Removal and Installation
See Figures 4-142 and 4-143.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Remove front splash shield. (See “Axle Shield and
Front Splash Shield” on page 5-17.)

3. Remove screw (2) and clamp (3); then move wire
harness (1) aside.

4. Tag and disconnect wire connector (4).
5. Remove two screws (5).
6. Remove brake pedal position sensor (6).
Installation Notes
• Install brake pedal position sensor by reversing the
order of removal.
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to any
connectors removed.
