PDU
Removal and Installation
See Figures 4-103 and 4-104.
WARNING
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Remove MCU. (See “MCU” on page 4-138.)

NOTE
Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct
installation.
3. Disconnect 48 VDC TRACT POS connector (1), and
PDU connectors (2).

4. Disconnect the 12 VOLT POS connectors (5 and 7)
at stud 6, if equipped.
5. Disconnect the 48 VDC GENERATOR POS
connector (8) at stud 3, if equipped.
6. Disconnect the 48 VDC BATT POS connector (6) at
stud 1.
7. Disconnect the 48 VDC REEL POS connector (4).
8. Remove screws (9) and lock washers (10).
9. Remove PDU (3).
Installation Notes
• Install PDU by reversing the order of removal.
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to any
connectors removed.
• Tighten nut at 12 VOLT POS connectors (5 and 7) to
150 lb-in. (16.9 N·m).
• Tighten nut at 48 VDC BATT POS connector (6) to 80
lb-in. (9 N·m).
• Tighten nut at 48 VDC Generator POS connector (8)
to 80 lb-in. (9 N·m).
Be sure that the key switch is off, all electrical
accessories are turned off, and the 12-volt and
48-volt power connectors are disconnected
before starting work on machine.
